Mr. Morton is a partner in the Dispute Resolution & Litigation practice group. He focuses on arbitration and commercial litigation and is a member of the firm's Arbitration group and cross-departmental Sports group.
Mr. Morton is involved in all aspects of arbitration and commercial litigation for clients ranging from multi-national corporations and sports governing bodies to commercial entrepreneurs.
Over recent years, Mr. Morton has dealt with numerous institutional arbitrations (commonly ICC or LCIA) and ad-hoc arbitrations as well as substantial High Court trials and appeals with cases stretching across a variety of areas including breach of contract, breach of warranty, breach of natural justice and professional negligence.
Many of the cases Mr. Morton deals with are international contractual disputes, involving issues of jurisdiction as well as arguments on the merits.
