Patricia Tiller is an associate in the firm's Dubai office. She focuses her practice on construction, oil and gas, and banking matters. She has a broad range of experience in negotiating and drafting commercial project documentation and associated financing arrangements. Ms. Tiller's clients include contractors, producers, owners and financial institutions.
Representative Experience
Energy
- Advised clients in relation to the farm-in of gas exploration permits in Western Australia and negotiated and drafted joint operation agreements and production sharing contracts for projects in the North West Shelf, Australia
- Represented both sellers and purchasers in gas sales agreements and futures contracts for various commodities
- Provided advice in respect of a Greenfield LNG project in Nigeria
- Advised the Indonesian government on the monetization of natural gas produced from gas fields in East Java
- Advised on various aspects of the upstream petroleum industry in Vietnam, including the negotiation of a production sharing contract
Construction
- Advised on construction projects in Indonesia, Singapore and Cambodia, including advising on tendering and negotiation of EPC contracts
- Advised Korean and Japanese sponsors and drafted engineering, procurement and construction contracts for a LNG reception, storage, regasification and delivery terminal located in Manzanillo, Mexico
- Negotiated and drafted construction contracts for a Naphtha Cracker plant in Vadinar (India) and advised on aspects of the design and construct contract for the USD 2.14bn oil refinery in Gujarat, India
- Advised the project company to a PPP project (the construction and management of a technical college in Singapore), including drafting and negotiating the project agreement, the design and build contract, the facilities management agreement and advising on associated interface issues
Banking
- Represented leading commercial lenders in connection with the entire suite of lending and security documentation for syndicated project finance loans including (i) USD220 million project financing for expansion of the Four Seasons hotel chain in India; (ii) USD300 million project financing for a hydropower plant in Laos and (iii) USD130 million financing for a container terminal in Vietnam
- Represented global financial institutions in connection with bond issues in Thailand and India
