Areas of Practice
Mr. Grimstad advises clients on a range of securities, corporate, financing, and business law matters, including federal and state (Blue Sky) regulation of securities transactions; federal disclosure and reporting requirements and procedures applicable to issuers, affiliates and executives; resales of restricted or control securities; governance, organizational and other issues arising under corporation laws and organic corporate documents; and mergers, acquisitions, and other fundamental transactions of business corporations and other organizations.

Counsel to the Firm. Partner in the Firm, 1968-1998. Associate with the firm, 1959-1968.
Mr. Grimstad has served as Chairman of the firm’s Opinion Committee. He is a member of the Legal Opinions Committee of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association, the Title 15 (Associations Code) Task Force of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Council of the Allegheny County Bar Association Business Law Section and a former member of the Attorney Advisory Committee of the Pennsylvania Securities Commission. He has served as a member of the governing bodies of a number of educational, community and church organizations.
