Areas of Practice

Mr. Maletta represents public and private companies, broker-dealers, investment companies and their advisors, and individuals in securities and corporate litigation, and in investigations by the Department of Justice and Securities and Exchange Commission involving the federal securities laws and related statutes.   Mr. Maletta also counsels clients on director and officer liability insurance matters and advises law firms and individual attorneys on professional responsibility issues.

Professional Background
Prior to practicing at K&L Gates, Mr. Maletta served as law clerk to Barrington D. Parker, United States District Judge for the District of Columbia, and in the Office of General Counsel of the Securities and Exchange Commission.
