Mr. Knedeisen’s practice embraces a variety of intellectual property issues, with a particular emphasis on patent law.
Patent Litigation: A substantial portion of Mr. Knedeisen’s practice involves representing clients in litigation matters concerning patent infringement.
Patent Procurement: Mr. Knedeisen’s practice also involves the preparation and prosecution of patent applications for numerous technologies, including telecommunications, computer and telecommunication networks, integrated circuits, software, robotics, internet, business methods, optics, telecommunications, RF and microwave devices, microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), and nanotechnology. Mr. Knedeisen has also filed and prosecuted several re-examination requests, both ex parte and inter partes.
Client Counseling: In addition, Mr. Knedeisen’s practice involves counseling clients on patent matters, such as developing patent portfolios, noninfringement and freedom-to-use counseling and opinions, and due diligence for business transactions.
