Mr. Koning has extensive experience in trial and appellate practice, with emphasis on professional liability defense and matters related to legal ethics. He has handled a wide range of business disputes, including real estate, banking, partnership, probate, and contract matters.
Mr. Koning has also been trained as an attorney-mediator by the American Academy of Attorney-Mediators.

Arbitrations of stock churning and unsuitability claims against national brokerage firms, in one instance resulting in an arbitration award of treble damages

Representation of a limited partner of a major league baseball franchise in a challenge to the general partner's attempts to amend the partnership agreement

Representation of the City of Arlington, Texas, in an investigation into allegations of corruption in its police force and municipal court system
