Areas of Practice
Mr. Holman is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of K&L Gates. Mr. Holman practices in the area of investment management, primarily focusing on open and closed-end registered funds, investment advisers, hedge funds and other private funds. Mr. Holman also works on federal financial services public policy issues, with a particular emphasis on derivatives, hedge funds and private equity funds.

Professional Background

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Holman worked in the office of the Honorable Harold Ford Jr. in the U.S. House of Representatives, serving as the Congressman's Financial Services Committee Legislative Assistant and primary adviser on energy, environment, transportation, agriculture, housing and community development issues. Mr. Holman has also interned with Merrill Lynch's Global Private Client Group and at the John Wolff International and Comparative Law Library.

Mr. Holman was a summer associate with the firm in 2007.
