Graham Grady concentrates his practice on zoning, land use and government relations matters. His litigation experience includes the representation of downtown Chicago office buildings involving major building code compliance and exterior wall maintenance cases.
Mr. Grady has experience working on mixed-use residential, commercial, office and retail centers; residential projects including condominium towers, apartment buildings, townhouses and single family; and commercial, retail and hotel developments. He represents a broad range of private, not-for-profit and quasi-governmental entities before the City of Chicago, Cook County and suburban communities throughout the Chicago metropolitan area. He works regularly with hospitals, health care and senior care facilities, religious, cultural and civic institutional facilities and convention.
Mr. Grady served in the Cabinet of Mayor Richard M. Daley from 1989-1996 as Zoning Administrator and Commissioner of Buildings City of Chicago, Ex-Officio member of the Chicago Plan Commission and Chief Executive of the Chicago Housing Authority. He also served as Assistant State's Attorney, Cook County State's Attorney's Office and Executive Director, Private Industry Council of Chicago.
Mr. Grady is a frequent speaker on land use, zoning and green and sustainable development issues.
