Paul F. Donahue concentrates his practice in antitrust counseling and business litigation. He counsels companies on distribution and marketing, including distributor and OEM arrangements, pricing, Internet sales and joint ventures. He is experienced in regulatory matters before the Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission including mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures.
He has litigated antitrust, securities, trade secrets, raiding, patents, franchise, RICO and ERISA cases. He successfully defended a major computer manufacturer against tying and other antitrust claims and has defended companies against claims of price fixing, resale price maintenance, attempted monopolization and Robinson-Patman. Industries range from computers, software and telecommunications to sporting goods and minerals and mining.
Mr. Donahue's securities cases have involved stocks, options, futures, market neutral portfolios, limited partnerships, municipal bond markups and mutual funds. He has defended broker-dealers in FINRA (formerly NASD) and SEC disciplinary actions.
