Troy S. Kleckley, Ph.D., focuses on patent-related issues involving biotechnology and chemistry. He has extensive experience in bioorganic, combinatorial and synthetic organic chemistry; catalysis and organometallics; industrial reactions and processes; and pharmaceutical research and formulations.
He has written numerous articles published in journals such as the Journal of the American Chemical Society, The Journal of Organic Chemistry, and Organic Letters.
Dr. Kleckley was a postdoctoral associate at the University of Chicago and a National Institutes of Health Postdoctoral Trainee at the University of Iowa. He also worked as a senior scientist in the Monomer and Polymer Technology Group at Honeywell, Inc.
During law school, he served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Amy St. Eve, in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Before attending law school, he was a technical advisor in a Chicago IP firm, where his experience included litigation, prosecution and opinion work.
