UK Projects
Advised a short-listed bidder on a £180 million social housing project in Leeds, England.
Australian Projects
Advising statutory authority on the Gold Coast Rapid Transit PPP project in particular in relation to the operations phase of the project and TTA’s role during the procurement, design and construction, transition and operational phases.
Undertaking a full legislative review of current West Australian legislation relating to transport and infrastructure projects and providing advice to the Department of Transport in Western Australia in respect of proposed legislative changes and alternate models that may be used by the West Australian Government to facilitate the delivery of the proposed Perth Light Rail project via a PPP.
Advising an Australian port authority on preliminary legal issues in respect of the proposed expansion and development of the port using a PPP model.
Advising an international manufacturer on its bid for the supply and maintenance of single-decker electric rolling stock for the AUD3 billion RailCorp Electric Trains PPP project in Australia.
Advising a major Melbourne hospital on the Health Services contract component of the Port Phillip Prison Project 1995 – 2010 comprising advice relating to the delivery of the health services in the context of a PPP model, negotiating terms of the Health Services Agreement and various renewals and variations over a 15 year period.
Providing project finance risk analysis and advising Raytheon the preferred bidder for supply of tolling equipment for the Mitcham-Frankston Project (Eastlink) (PPP), including negotiating the proposed key contract for supply of tolling equipment.
Other International Projects
Advised a Danish funding company on the financing of a manufacturing facility in Russia with funding from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
Advised a major Mexican industrial company in connection with the regulation, development, and finance of natural gas-fired projects in Mexico, including modifications to proposed laws and regulations concerning purchases from independent generation facilities and drafting and negotiating the gas purchase and power sales contracts.
Represented a multilateral development bank in the first limited recourse project financing of an electric generation facility in Panama.
