The mother suffered a uterine rupture shortly prior to the birth of the child. Interlocutory Judgment has been entered against the Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and a hospital.
  • Acting for a patient in his claim against a Plastic & Aesthetic Surgeon for damages resulting from the injuries suffered by the patient. As a result of the delayed delivery of the child, the child was diagnosed to suffer from dystonic quadriparetic cerebral palsy. Since the birth of the child, the mother has remained in a semi-vegetative state as a result of massive blood loss. After three rounds of mediation, the claims by the mother and child were successfully settled.
