This panel discussion focuses on how companies can reduce the risk of aggressive antitrust enforcement and litigation, employ mitigation strategies, and implement or enhance compliance efforts.  Much of this discussion is applicable to a wide range of government enforcement-related proceedings in addition to antitrust. Our panel includes a former senior attorney from BP America, who provides first-hand experience in responding to various government-related inquiries.

This program addresses issues and strategies relating to:

  • Mitigating criminal, cartel, and civil litigation risks, including the increase in corporate fines and penalties; prosecution of executives; foreign data productions; and concerns relating to confidentiality of internal investigations
  • Implementing effective compliance approaches, including foreign-based conduct, acquisition due diligence, and behavior screening
  • Promoting efficient data collection and review for internal investigations and litigation
