Watch Webinar Recording. (CLE/CPD Credit Available)

Employers in the hospitality industry must comply with discrimination and leave laws. Under heavy public and government scrutiny, industry employers must follow both the spirit and letter of the law.

In this presentation, we discuss some of the key discrimination and leave issues that often arise in day-to-day hospitality operations, including accommodating religious beliefs, accommodating employees with a disability, managing intermittent FMLA leave, and navigating laws applied to transgender employees. We also address the trends and issues associated with predictive scheduling. We discuss these and other discrimination and leave issues that are of special interest to the hospitality industry.
