Rohan Purdy

Mr. Purdy is a senior corporate lawyer and corporate governance professional with significant experience gained in a diverse range of sectors, including investment banking, financial services, asset management and real estate. Mr. Purdy has significant experience advising ASX-listed entities on corporate and transactional matters, with a specialisation in equity capital market transactions, including placements, initial public offerings, underwritings and other structured equity offerings. Mr. Purdy also has particular expertise advising ASX-listed entities on corporate actions, ASX Listing Rule compliance, corporate governance and company secretarial obligations.

Professional Background

Prior to joining K&L Gates, Mr. Purdy obtained unique experience from acting in a number of senior in-house roles, including General Counsel & Company Secretary of an ASX-listed group, Senior Legal Counsel at Babcock & Brown and Senior Legal Counsel at the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX). Mr. Purdy also has experience working as a Senior Associate in leading national and international law firms.

  • Providing advice on a broad range of corporate and commercial transactions, including shareholder arrangements and restructures, joint ventures and asset management arrangements.
  • Advising on company secretarial and corporate governance obligations, particularly with respect to ASX-listed entities.
