Rosie Naylor is an associate in the investigations, enforcement and white collar crime practice group of the firm’s London office.

Ms. Naylor’s areas of focus include:

  • internal and law enforcement investigations
  • anti-bribery and anti-money laundering
  • mutual legal assistance and extradition
  • corporate due diligence
  • compliance advice, including advice relating to health & safety law, whistleblowing, data protection and anti-corruption procedures
  • large scale health & safety investigations, often involving construction sites

Ms. Naylor also has experience advising political parties, individual candidates, and third party campaigners on their conduct both inside and outside election periods.

Ms. Naylor completed her training contract at K&L Gates, during which she gained experience in the investment management and financial regulation, construction and infrastructure, and real estate (planning & environment) departments.

Professional Background

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Naylor interned at K&L Gates in 2013. In addition, she worked at a UK law firm in 2014, and a London law firm in 2010 and 2012.

  • Acting for a multinational law firm in respect of an SFO investigation into a mining conglomerate.
  • Advising a senior individual in respect of an FRC investigation into the audit of a FTSE 250 company’s accounts.
  • Advising a multinational technology company in relation to the SFO probe into Unaoil.
  • Compliance advice in connection with anti-money laundering and anti-corruption policies in Qatar.
  • Conducting anti-corruption due diligence in relation to the use of agents in sub-Saharan Africa as part of a global anti-corruption review.
  • Advising a large multinational company providing services to the government in relation to alleged improper distribution of profits, advising on an SFO investigation into the company and advising its subsidiary on the UK Bribery Act in relation to its ongoing business in the Middle East.
  • Advising UK and international companies on compliance with the UK Bribery Act and the architecture and implementation of anti-bribery policies, systems and controls.
  • Advising a Dubai company on exposure under the UK Bribery Act in connection with investment for citizenship schemes.
  • Advising a global construction company in relation to a number of HSE investigations.
  • Representing a former City derivatives trader in respect of the SFO and FCA LIBOR investigations into alleged fraudulent benchmark manipulation.
  • Advising third party campaigners on the effects of spending in the lead up to the 2017 General Election.
  • Advising individuals and campaigning groups on their interaction with the Electoral Commission, including during investigations.
  • Providing regulatory advice to campaigning groups especially in the context of a short notice General Election or second EU Referendum.
  • Representing clients in relation to responding to a public inquiry.
