Mr. Jo’s practice focuses on corporate and securities matters, with an emphasis on domestic and offshore mergers and acquisitions and venture capital. Mr. Jo also represents clients in various matters involving technology and intellectual property law, including IP and technology licensing, IT/business outsourcing arrangements, E-commerce and internet law, and other technology-related transactions, including those involving cloud computing, privacy, and data protection. Mr. Jo is registered before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and prosecutes patents in the LCD, telecommunications, and semiconductor arts.

During law school, Mr. Jo was an in-house clerk in the IP department of Halliburton Energy Services, Inc.
