Ms. Elrod's practice primarily involves general commercial real estate and lending matters, including representing clients in connection with acquisition, disposition and development of improved and unimproved commercial and residential properties including multi-family complexes, hotels, restaurants, shopping centers and office buildings; representing financial institutions in connection with all aspects of mortgage loans, asset-based loans, corporate loans and equity financing; representing borrowers in mortgage loan transactions, including restructuring debt; and representing lenders with regard to loans in workout transactions, including modifications, assumptions, releases, substitutions, foreclosures and sales.
Prior to joining K&L Gates, Ms. Elrod was an associate in finance, real estate and banking section of a Dallas, Texas law firm.
