Sandra is a corporate and commercial lawyer in our Corporate practice group and a member of our Energy, Infrastructure and Resources team, with a focus on equity capital markets.

Sandra has over 7 years' experience in a broad range of commercial and corporate advisory matters, including initial public offerings, rights issues, corporate governance, corporate restructures, takeovers, merger and acquisition transactions, due diligence, share buy-backs, employee incentive schemes, extraordinary and annual general meeting documentation and advising on the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) and ASX compliance.

Professional Background

Prior to joining K&L Gates, Sandra was a senior associate in the corporate and commercial legal team at a Big 4 accounting firm.

Prior to joining K&L Gates, Sandra gained the following experience:
  • Advising Plus Connect Limited (formerly Activistic Limited) on its takeover bid for Plus Connect Holdings Pty Ltd (formerly Plus Connect Limited).
  • Advising on the back-door listings of various companies, including Intiger Group Limited, Wangle Technologies Limited, Yojee Limited, LiveTiles Limited, Ensurance Limited, Plus Connect Limited.
  • Advising a private company in the Australian retail meat industry in the restructure of its corporate group.
  • Advising a Chinese company on its proposed investment in an Australian waste and recycling business.
  • Advising an ASX-listed gold and base metals exploration company on its acquisition of interests in projects in Finland and Western Australia.
  • Advising various ASX-listed companies in relation to renounceable and non-renounceable rights issues.
  • Advising private and public companies on various matters including employee incentive schemes, share buy-backs, capital reductions, share purchase plans, meeting documents, placements, options, underwriting and other capital raising documents
  • Advising ASX-listed clients on Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) and ASX Listing Rules compliance, corporate governance and other regulatory issues (including continuous disclosure and directors' duties and obligations).
