Sarah Lockwood is a senior associate in the firm's London office. She concentrates her practice on real estate matters.

Ms. Lockwood handles both commercial and mixed use property matters and has experience acting for various clients including institutional and private investors, pension funds, overseas investors, joint ventures, retail tenants, developers, owner occupiers, lenders, registered providers, charities and entrepreneurs.

Ms. Lockwood deals with high value and complex commercial and mixed use disposals, acquisitions and subsequent portfolio management, secured lending, portfolio refinancing and landlord and tenant transactions (acting for both landlords and tenants).

She also assists regularly with corporate share acquisitions where there is significant value in the target company’s real estate assets, including where the re-gearing of one or more of the target’s leasehold interests is a part of the overall deal. Ms. Lockwood regularly negotiates and advises on real estate warranties in share purchase agreements.

Ms. Lockwood regularly provides real estate advice to local and youth organisations that deliver sport and other services to their communities; including football teams, a boxing association, a tennis club, a trampolining society, a youth radio station, age concern organisations and a playgroup.

Ms. Lockwood deals primarily with retail, industrial and office premises.

Ms. Lockwood qualified as a solicitor in April 2010 after having trained in the London and Oman offices of a leading international UK firm.
