Scott McLester is a partner at the firm’s Newark and Miami offices where he is a member of the resort, hospitality and leisure group.

Professional Background

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. McLester served as General Counsel, Corporate Secretary and Chief Compliance Officer for Wyndham Worldwide (the world’s largest hospitality company before its separation into two separate publicly traded companies). Mr. McLester led a global legal team of approximately 75 lawyers specializing in the following areas: hotel and timeshare law, franchise law, corporate governance, compliance and ethics, SEC and NYSE reporting, Board of Director reporting and communications, litigation, employment law, commercial transactions, intellectual property and information technology law, and government relations. Mr. McLester was appointed as General Counsel for Wyndham Worldwide in 2006 and held multiple titles at Wyndham’s predecessor company, Cendant Corporation, prior to serving as Wyndham’s General Counsel. Prior to joining Cendant Corporation, Mr. McLester served as Vice President in the Law Department at Merrill Lynch in New York and as a Partner at a Newark-based law firm.
