Shu Fen Lim is a member of the litigation and dispute resolution practice group. She focuses her practice on matrimonial and estate matters. Her primary areas of practice include applications relating to divorce, annulment, adoption, guardianship, mental capacity act, probate (both contentious and non-contentious), and will drafting/estate planning.

Ms. Lim is a Professional Deputy and Donee registered with the Office of the Public Guardian, a division of the Ministry of Social and Family Development.

  • Ms. Lim is a contributor/author for Lexis Practical Guidance “Family Law Module.”
  • Assisted and subsequently had sole conduct for a highly contentious divorce that spanned 5 years. There was extensive discovery and numerous interlocutory applications resulting in more than 70 affidavits being filed in the proceedings and a year-long ancillary matters hearing in the Singapore High Court.
  • Assisted in a Court of Appeal matter relating to a recusal application.
  • Assisting in a contentious probate matter in the Singapore High Court (Family Division) and providing accounts for the Estate spanning 20 years.
  • Handles family matters including adoption, contentious and non-contentious probate, contentious divorces, applications under the Mental Capacity Act and Guardianship Infants Act.
