Siobhan Kahmann is a senior associate in the firm's Brussels office.  She concentrates her practice on antitrust and competition matters, with an emphasis on EU, UK and Asian competition law, in addition to advising on EU regulatory matters and international trade.

Professional Background

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Kahmann worked as an associate in other international law firms, both in Brussels and in the UK. She also has experience from the Asian markets as an international lawyer in a large Singaporean law firm. Earlier in her career, Siobhan also had the opportunity to work at the Court of Justice of the European Union with the cabinet of then UK Judge, David A.O. Edward.

Ms. Kahmann has extensive experience in advising on matters involving abuse of dominance, cartel investigations, merger control, distribution practices, and antitrust counselling on a broad variety of commercial practices. She has been involved in a variety of high profile cases before the European Commission, Member State national competition authorities, and Asian competition authorities.

Ms. Kahmann's practice has involved successfully representing clients across a broad range of industries and business sectors, including media, post, telecoms, F&B, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, natural gas, IT and IT accessories, electronics, home security, automotive, elevators, air transport, and freight. She has also advised the Singapore Media Development Authority on the redrafting of Singapore's media competition framework, which regulates media including TV and print, to cover new media technologies.
