Stephanie Goodlet is a real estate lawyer with broad experience in development, commercial and general property matters. Ms. Goodlet advises a range of clients including property developers, vendors, purchasers, landlords and tenants in relation to their property transactions. Ms. Goodlet has experience in the sale and acquisition of residential development and commercial properties, property development with a focus on mixed residential and retail developments and general property matters.

Ms. Goodlet also acts for agribusiness clients and provides advice in relation to the acquisition and sale of agricultural land, associated water entitlements and agricultural licences.

Ms. Goodlet also has a focus on advising local government clients and provides advice in relation to the acquisition and disposal of land, road discontinuances, leasing, licensing and other ancillary matters.

She also acts for corporate advisory clients and lending institutions in relation to insolvency related property transactions.
  • Acting for Bensons Property Group in relation to the development, subdivision and sale of a high density mixed use project in Footscray, including drafting and advising in respect of the contracts of sale, owners corporation rules and associated issues.
  • Advising Hamton Group Pty Ltd in relation to the $2 billion staged mixed use redevelopment of the Moonee Valley Racecourse, including providing advice in respect of the residential, retail and commercial components.
  • Advising Hamton Group Pty Ltd and ISPT (in joint venture) in respect of the development of a 3 stage mixed use development in Abbotsford, Melbourne, including providing advice in respect of various lifestyle amenity agreements, owners corporation issues and other ancillary matters.
  • Advising Hamton Group Pty Ltd and ISPT (in joint venture) in respect of the development of a high density residential development in South Melbourne.
  • Acting for KordaMentha in respect of the subdivision and sale of a residential distressed asset subdivision project at Martha Cove, including drafting and providing advice in respect of vacant land and house and land off the plan contracts of sale and associated owners corporation issues.
  • Representing a US based fund in respect of the acquisition of a significant cotton farming aggregation and associated water entitlements in Queensland.
  • Representing a US based fund in respect of the acquisition of an almond farm and associated water entitlements in South Australia.
  • Acting for Manningham City Council in relation to significant leasing restructure.
  • Advising on the acquisition and sale of various agricultural properties in Victoria and other jurisdictions.
  • Acting for property developers in relation to residential, mixed use, commercial and industrial developments, including preparing off the plan contracts of sale, development management agreements, agreements for lease and leases, licences, owners corporation rules and amenity agreements.
  • Acting for and advising local councils in relation to the acquisition and disposal of property, creation, variation and removal of easements, agreements for lease and leases, road discontinuances and sales and other ancillary matters.
  • Acting for and advising private clients on the sale and acquisition of residential development and commercial properties, including completing due diligence and preparing and reviewing contracts of sale.
