Mr. Moore concentrates his practice in assisting small businesses, financial institutions, physicians, non-profit institutions and business executives. Mr. Moore advises his small business and executive clients with respect to traditional corporate and business law, ownership transition law, employment law, employee benefit law and tax and estate planning law. For financial institutions, he concentrates his practice in the areas of consumer credit compliance, deposit account compliance, and corporate governance and structure matters. He has extensive experience in matters involving truth-in-lending truth-in-savings, deposit insurance coverage, ERISA, COBRA, pension and personnel matters.
Professional/Civic Activities
Mr. Moore served as the President and is a member of the Board of Trustees of The Forsyth Institute (the world’s largest private oral health research institution). He has served on the Planning Board and Conservation Commission of the Town of Newbury, as Commissioner and Vice Chairman of the Merrimack Valley Planning Commission, as a corporator of the Anna Jacques Hospital in Newburyport, Massachusetts, and as a Commissioner of the Massachusetts State Ethics Commission (1997-2001). He is an officer and trustee of various corporations, retirement plans and personal trusts. He has served as the Assistant Secretary of William Underwood Company, a nationally known food manufacturer and distributor. He is a member of the Massachusetts and Boston Bar Associations.
Speaking Engagements
Mr. Moore frequently presents seminars to groups of financial institution executives, employers and lawyers with respect to developments in the financial services field, the health care field, and employee benefit law.
