Bo Manuel regularly represents commercial lenders, CMBS mortgage portfolio servicers, master servicers, and borrowers in various financing transactions including workouts, debt and corporate restructurings, loan assumptions, defeasances, and the origination of commercial mortgage backed loans.
Mr. Manuel actively represents credit opportunity funds and private equity purchasers in connection with the acquisition, workout, and disposition of distressed assets, including mortgage loans, lease portfolios, bank owned property, C&I, loans, and other secured credit facilities.
Mr. Manuel has significant experience representing developers in the financing, sale, and acquisition of complex mixed-use properties, with an emphasis on the development of hotel and resort communities, including the review and negotiation of real estate and title documents in connection with commercial transactions.

Representation of resort developer in connection with $30 million permanent loan secured in part by multi-tenant shopping center
Workout and modification of $40 million partially secured credit facility to include security interest in timeshare note receivables, ground leasehold interests, and fee simple multi-tenant shopping center
