Thomas Dollar is a litigation associate in the firm’s New York office. His practice focuses primarily on complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts, including parallel judicial and arbitral proceedings. He has experience representing clients in commercial-fraud and breach-of-contract actions, securities litigation, and art-law matters.

Mr. Dollar has also engaged in substantial pro bono work, including briefing and oral argument for clients seeking immigration relief. He regularly counsels Spanish-speaking clients and has provided representation in a capital habeas corpus proceeding and a § 1983 action. Additionally, he has provided pro bono advice to a leading non-profit organization and is an active member of the firm’s Cyber Civil Rights Legal Program.

Professional Background

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Dollar was judicial law clerk for the Honorable Roanne L. Mann of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. In addition, he was a summer associate in the firm’s New York office in 2014. Mr. Dollar was an honors law clerk for the EPA Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance.
