Will Cleveland practices in the areas of environmental law, toxic tort, labor and employment, and commercial litigation. His environmental practice includes a range of complex environmental litigation and regulatory matters that involve air, water, and waste issues under varied federal and state environmental statutes, including CERCLA, the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, and numerous state Brownfields statutes.

Mr. Cleveland’s toxic tort practice has addressed environmental cost recovery and contribution actions under CERCLA and similar state statutes, leaking underground storage tank cases, multi-district products liability litigation, and actions by federal and state agencies to enforce environmental requirements.

Additionally, Mr. Cleveland’s labor and employment practice relates to employment discrimination, all forms of harassment, wage and hour, wrongful termination, trade secret misappropriation, alleged unfair labor practices, and restrictive covenants. Mr. Cleveland also has experience litigating complex commercial disputes.

Professional Background

Prior to joining K&L Gates, Mr. Cleveland was an associate at a law firm in Washington, D.C. During law school, Mr. Cleveland served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Sol Blatt, Jr. of the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina.
