Władek Rzycki is a Partner in the Warsaw office. His experience spans the full range of transactional and corporate work both in Poland and the United States. He has particular experience in M&A, private equity, public procurement, offset law, and international and U.S. tax law. Mr. Rzycki ’s transactional practice includes private equity practice, cross-border M&A, public procurement and offset-related practice, project finance, and government practice. He represents private equity funds, multinational and Polish enterprises, as well as entrepreneurs. Mr. Rzycki has worked in the past on structuring and planning inbound and outbound investments, spinoffs, leveraged buyouts, incorporations, and stock and asset acquisitions.

Professional/Civic Activities

  • Member, Kościuszko Foundation
  • Representing a number of foreign entities in negotiations and contracting with the different branches of the Polish Government, including large scale public procurement projects, privatizations, M&A projects, joint ventures with the Government owned entities, regulatory matters, EU funds, and offset agreements.
  • Representation of clients with regard to online gambling and regulatory matters.
  • Serving as the Preferred Legal Counsel to United Technologies Corporation
    in Poland, advising on all legal aspects of doing business in Poland, including M&A, joint ventures, general corporate work, anti-monopoly advice, labor law, regulatory work, public procurement and offset law.
  • Advising the foreign client on the privatization of a leading Polish aerospace producer and the relevant regulatory matters.
  • Representing foreign clients in large scale governmental procurement projects in Poland and related project finance matters, such as tenders for helicopters, airplanes and other defense-related articles, road concession tenders, design of the Schengen area border protection system, and the design of the coastal traffic monitoring system.
