Alex Kaplan represents real estate clients across an array of high-stakes transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, leases, ground leases, and joint ventures. Alex has particular experience representing cross-borders investors acquiring fee, debt, and equity interests in trophy office and retail properties located in New York City, Washington, D.C., and Dallas, as well as acquirers, developers, and tenants of sports stadium and arena facilities. Alex has also advised clients in the pharmaceutical, hospitality, health care, retail, and self-storage industries with their real estate transactional needs, and in corporate governance matters in connection with real estate development and ownership.
Prior to joining the firm, Alex was a real estate and corporate associate at another international law firm, where his practice also included advising clients in the defense contracting, banking, and pharmaceutical industries on mergers and acquisitions.
