Ali Parker is an associate in the firm’s Pittsburgh office. She focuses her practice in labor and employment law and complex commercial litigation.
In Ms. Parker’s labor and employment practice, she represents employers in a variety of matters, including discrimination claims under federal and state law, wage and overtime disputes, litigation of non-solicitation agreements, and wrongful discharge claims under state law. She has litigated cases involving claims under the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974. As part of her complex commercial litigation practice, Ms. Parker represents companies in a variety of substantive areas, including breach of contract actions, and business tort disputes. Ms. Parker has broad litigation and trial experience, and has successfully argued niche employment law issues in federal and state courts.
Ms. Parker was a summer associate with the firm in 2013. During law school, she served as a law clerk for several area law firms and also participated in Duquesne University’s Unemployment Compensation Clinic, where she represented clients seeking unemployment compensation benefits.
