Ally Nicol is an associate in the firm’s Chicago office. She is a member of the technology transactions and data protection practice group. Ally’s practice focuses on technology, intellectual property, and data privacy and security matters in corporate transactional agreements.
Ally has experience drafting and negotiating a range of commercial contracts, including service agreements, SaaS and other software agreements, research and development agreements, and manufacturing and licensing agreements. Ally is CIPP/US certified with the International Association of Privacy Professionals and has further experience drafting and advising on privacy policies, terms of service, data processing and transfer arrangements, and regulatory compliance.
Prior to joining the firm, Ally was a corporate finance associate at an AmLaw 200 law firm in Chicago where she focused her practice on the representation of institutional investors and financial institutions in connection with secured and unsecured debt financings. She has experience in a variety of markets including real estate, public utilities, sports finance, project finance, and general corporate.
