Andrew J. Wu

Andrew Wu is an associate in the firm’s San Francisco office. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and class action defense for a variety of clients, including those in the consumer products, retail, financial services, and technology industries. Andrew’s clients value his pragmatic legal advice, sharp instincts, and tenacious work ethic to get the job done when the stakes are high.

Andrew has experience with matters involving contractual disputes, business torts, and trade secrets misappropriation, among other commercial disputes.  He also defends against consumer class actions involving claims of false advertising, unfair competition, consumer fraud, as well as claims arising under federal and state privacy laws.  He regularly handles case management and strategy, dispositive motions practice, all phases of discovery, and successfully resolves matters through mediation and settlement. Additionally, Andrew has conducted sensitive internal investigations on behalf of various organizations and he has experience working with, and reporting out to, boards and special committees.

Andrew also maintains a pro bono practice that focuses on constitutional and civil rights.

Prior to joining the firm, Andrew was a litigation associate at a U.S. law firm, where he focused his practice on commercial litigation.  He represented various companies—including a Fortune 100 grocery retail company, a global insurance firm, and one of the world’s largest fast food franchises—in numerous complex commercial litigation matters.
