Andrew J. Wu

Andrew Wu is an associate in the firm’s San Francisco office and a member of the Commercial Disputes group. 

Clients turn to Andrew for his pragmatic legal advice, sharp instincts, and tenacious work ethic to get the job done when the stakes are high.  Whether he is representing a local enterprise or a multinational corporation, Andrew’s clients value his ability to understand their specific business needs to develop effective risk management solutions and drive successful litigation strategies. 

Andrew has represented clients from a variety of industries—including consumer products, retail, financial services, transportation, technology, media and entertainment, and more—in various complex commercial disputes.  He has experience defending consumer class actions and litigating cases involving contractual disputes, intellectual property infringement claims, trade secret misappropriation and non-compete issues, business torts, and civil rights claims, among others.  He handles case management and strategy, dispositive motions practice, all phases of discovery, and successfully resolves matters through mediation and settlement.  

Additionally, Andrew has represented various organizations in sensitive internal investigations and he has experience working with, and reporting out to, boards and special committees. 

Prior to joining the firm, Andrew was a litigation associate at a U.S. law firm, where he focused his practice on commercial litigation.  He represented various companies—including a Fortune 100 grocery retail company, a global insurance firm, and one of the world’s largest fast food franchises—in numerous complex commercial litigation matters.
