Brandon started his legal career in Pittsburgh as a staff attorney for a nonprofit law firm based representing nonprofit clients and for-profit clients with nonprofit missions in the development of multi-use real estate for affordable housing and economic development. He primarily advised on deal structuring around the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and all matters associated with the deal structure including Joint Ventures, complex financing stacks, corporate entities and associated documents, buying and selling buildings/land, AIA construction documents, financial forecasting and business strategy, and government funding applications. Prior to joining the firm, Brandon served as in-house counsel for a commercial real estate development and general contracting company. In this role, he was the principal advisor to the owner of the company, where he advised on business strategy, deal feasibility and structuring, and legal resources in dealing with government and regulatory bodies.
