Brittany Fayette is an associate in the firm's Seattle office where she is a member of the technology transactions and data protection group. She focuses her practice on technology transactions, general intellectual property, and business services matters across a variety of sectors, including life sciences, biotech, health technology, ecommerce, telecommunications, and transportation.
Brittany has particular experience drafting and negotiating a range of intellectual property agreements, including licensing agreements, collaboration agreements, research and development agreements, material transfer agreements, non-disclosure agreements, terms of service, and software and SaaS agreements. Brittany also advises on intellectual property and data privacy matters for mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructures, venture and private equity investments, IPOs, and other corporate matters.
Brittany leverages her business experience to deliver practical solutions to the complex legal issues faced by her clients. She works closely with clients to understand their business needs and develop strategies to achieve their key objectives.
Prior to joining the firm, Brittany served as an associate at an international law firm where she focused her practice in technology and commercial transactions, across a wide range of industries. During law school, Brittany interned with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for Washington, D.C. in its Civil Division, and with the Office of Foreign Litigation within the Commercial Litigation Branch of the Department of Justice in Washington, D.C.
Prior to law school, she gained practical business experience working for a global Fortune 100 company advising on compliance issues.
