Brittany Kaplan concentrates her practice in intellectual property law, with a focus on trademark clearance, prosecution, protection, enforcement and supporting portfolio management for clients ranging from multi-national to start-up companies across industries. Brittany also assists in advising clients on the selection and registration of trademarks in the United States and abroad, proper trademark usage, and trademark protection for packaging. In addition, Brittany assists clients with copyright infringement and copyright proceedings, trade dress infringement, domain name disputes, and social media crises.
Previously, Brittany served as a summer associate and law clerk for K&L Gates. Brittany is involved in the Cyber Civil Rights Legal Project, a project founded by K&L Gates to help victims of nonconsensual pornography by providing them legal assistance on a pro bono basis.
Prior to her legal career, Brittany worked in the magazine publishing industry as an editor for almost a decade.
