Many businesses have prepared applications for SBA Paycheck Protection Program loans, and everyone is eager to see new guidance from SBA and Treasury as the underwriting and approval processes get underway. Meanwhile, Congress and the White House are already talking about the upcoming fourth stimulus package.

K&L Gates panelists will include Mary Burke Baker from our D.C. public policy team and Liz Evans from our New York banking and asset finance group. Mary was formerly at the IRS and the Senate Finance Committee, and Liz formerly ran a SBA bank microlending program. We may include additional panelists if developments at Treasury or SBA make new substantive topics important. Dallas tax partner Sam Megally will moderate, and will help facilitate attendee questions and the panel’s answers.
