Catherine O’Neill is an associate in the firm’s Boston office, where she is a member of the investment management, hedge funds and alternative investments practice group. She focuses her practice on advising investment advisers, registered and unregistered funds, and other financial services providers. She counsels clients on various legal and regulatory matters, including derivatives documentation, performance advertising reviews and drafting and reviewing documentation for the formation, organization and ongoing operations of registered and unregistered funds.
Prior to joining the firm, Catherine worked on health policy at a Washington, D.C.-based pharmaceutical lobbying group. She also served as a clerk at the U.S. Department of Justice within the Executive Office of U.S. Attorneys. Additionally, Catherine worked as a policy intern for the National Foundation for Women Legislators while in Washington, D.C. and as a student clerk for the Attleboro District Court in Attleboro, Massachusetts. While in law school, she was a legal intern for the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the District of Massachusetts within the Health Care Fraud Unit. She was a Summer Associate at K&L Gates in 2016.
