Chiara Romeo

Chiara is a trainee lawyer at the Milan office. She deals mainly with civil law, and in particular with the real estate sector, assisting Italian and foreign clients in domestic and transnational transactions.

Chiara graduated in July 2021 in Law at the University of Pavia, discussing a thesis in Constitutional Law addressed with reference to issues arising from the needs created by the advent of New Technologies entitled "Balancing and Measuring of Rights and Freedoms".

She joined K&L Gates as an intern, doing an internship lasting nine months before graduating. During her undergraduate years, she served an internship at the Prefecture of Pavia dealing with issues related to public law, citizenship and immigration and was a delegate at the Geneva office of the United Nations performing research tasks in the field of private international law and labour law, as well as taking part in seminars, conferences and hearings of the various parties involved.

Chiara contributes to the association "Educivica" that deals with the dissemination of topics of Constitutional Law and Civic Education in general, with ELSA, the European Association of Law Students, with Avvocato di Strada - Pavia.
