Liz Hoadley is a litigator who focuses her practice on insurance coverage disputes. In addition to insurance coverage, she also has experience in complex commercial litigation and employment-related disputes.
Liz's insurance coverage litigation experience includes representing policyholders in relation to a variety of policies, including general liability, property damage, professional liability, and asbestos liability policies. Liz assists policyholders in fighting to secure coverage in a number of contexts, such as COVID-19-related losses, environmental liabilities, manufacturer property damage, professional liabilities, and long-tail asbestos liabilities.
Liz also has litigation experience related to corporate land lease disputes and employment-related liability. In particular, Liz had experience with motions practice, general pre-trial litigation, and arbitration practice.
Previously, Liz served as an intern to the Honorable Judge David S. Cercone of the United States District Court of the Western District of Pennsylvania, where she was the principal architect of an opinion on Rule 12(b)(6) Motion to Dismiss of a §1983 employer defamation case. In addition, Liz researched and drafted opinions on a variety of Pro Se matters, many of which were prisoner rights actions.
