Javier Roldán Cora is an associate at the firm’s Miami office. He is a member of the complex commercial litigation and disputes practice group. Javier has worked for clients on litigation matters involving financial institutions, medical device companies, intellectual property and other complex commercial disputes. He has been involved in many aspects in of civil litigation, such as drafting pleadings, preparing and reviewing discovery, assisting in depositions, and drafting a variety of motions.
Javier is also engaged in the firm’s global pro bono project, the Cyber Civil Rights Project. He is part of the support team providing legal services to the victims of online sex crimes.
Prior to joining K&L Gates, Javier was a financial analyst for the largest clinical laboratory corporation in the Caribbean and a certified tax specialist. Javier was a summer associate in the Miami office of K&L Gates in 2017. He gained experience conducting legal research, drafting motions and memoranda, and assisting in the preparation of materials for trials and depositions by serving as a judicial intern for the Hon. Jose E. Martinez in the Southern District of Florida, and as a legal intern at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida, Criminal Division, in Miami.
