Jeffrey C. Joy

Jeffrey Joy is a partner in the firm’s Portland and Irvine offices where he is a member of the estate planning and trusts & estates practice group, as well as the firm's tax group. Jeffrey brings more than twenty-five years of experience in income and estate tax planning for high net-worth individuals and the owners of closely held businesses to the firm.

Prior to joining the firm, Jeffrey worked in the Orange County office of an international law firm for more than 15 years. In addition, since serving as an Attorney-Advisor to the U.S. Tax Court at the beginning of his career, Jeffrey has had an extensive tax controversy practice. He has represented clients over the past 25 years before the Internal Revenue Service, U.S. Tax Court, California Franchise Tax Board and the California State Board of Equalization.
