John P. Bozeman

John Bozeman is an associate at the firm's Charleston office. He is a member of the Labor, Employment, and Workplace Safety practice group. John represents clients in federal and state courts in a wide range of complex employment disputes. John also counsels employers on all aspects of the employment relationship, including terminations, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, leave and disability issues, and compliance with state and federal employment laws. John also assists clients in drafting a variety of employment-related materials, including contracts, policies and procedures, employee handbooks, severance agreements, and non-compete agreements.

Prior to joining the firm, John served as a law clerk at a U.S. based plaintiffs' law firm. While there, John conducted extensive legal research and wrote numerous memoranda in complex civil cases. John also has experience in criminal matters, through his clerkship at the Solicitor’s Office for South Carolina’s ninth judicial circuit.
