Kitt Ritter is an associate at the firm’s Charleston office. She is a member of the banking and asset finance practice group. Kitt focuses her practice on loan servicing, commercial mortgage-backed securities and commercial real estate transactions, with an emphasis on the representation of mortgage portfolio lenders and servicers in connection with the servicing of securitized loans including defeasances, assumptions, modifications, consents, and other servicing matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Kitt served as a banking and finance associate of a global law firm in New York City where she focused her practice on debt finance transactions, including multijurisdictional credit facilities, acquisition financings and subordinated and mezzanine credit facilities. She is experienced in advising private companies and private equity funds entering into financings in a variety of industries, including health care, manufacturing and technology. She is also experienced in representing financial institutions in their role as agent banks and lenders in secured and unsecured credit facilities.
