Konrad Lee is an associate at the firm’s Boston office. He focuses on intellectual property law, with an emphasis on patent prosecution, and strategic patent portfolio counseling. Konrad has experience with large established clients, as well as start-ups, in all aspects of managing an IP Portfolio, starting from helping to decide what might be a patentable invention, to efficiently applying for and prosecuting a patent application, and finally to helping decide whether and how to continue extending the life of a patented family. Konrad's technical experience centers around data storage, software, algorithms, and medical devices.
Prior to joining the firm, Konrad served as senior counsel at a multinational information technology corporation where he obtained broad and substantial expertise in Intellectual Property. Konrad is experienced in patent prosecution, technology transactions, software licensing, open source licensing, compliance, due diligence, academic research collaborations, copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets.
Prior to attending law school, Konrad worked as a senior engineer in radar and weapon system technology. His experience included developing firmware and software related to radar technology and creating models and simulations of complex distributed systems for a defense contractor.
