Korey is a corporate and regulatory lawyer in the Melbourne Corporate team focusing on the healthcare and life sciences sectors. She advises clients on a range of health matters, including compliance with regulatory requirements, contracting, structuring and mergers and acquisitions.
Her clients include public and private health service providers, private health insurers, aged care and retirement living operators and managers and pharmaceutical, medical device and biotechnology companies.
Korey joined K&L Gates in 2019 as a seasonal clerk and worked as a paralegal in the corporate team focusing on health and regulatory matters before completing the graduate program in 2020. As a graduate, Korey worked in the Corporate, Litigation and Dispute Resolution (Medical Negligence), and Capital Markets practices.
Prior to joining K&L Gates, Korey completed an internship at a boutique IP law firm and worked as a paralegal at a large public hospital with a focus on complex health (including clinical and medical device trials), coronial, and aged care matters.
