Prior to joining the firm, LaQues served as an associate at a premier mid-west based law firm where her practice involved the acquisition, disposition, lease, development, construction of commercial and residential properties for national corporations and nonprofits. She also drafted deeds and advised clients of land use ability based on deed restrictions and zoning law research. LaQues notably has multi-year experience in all stages of litigation, including client counseling, pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement negotiations, depositions, and trial preparation. Her broader commercial experience includes a range of contract, tort, product liability, and construction actions. LaQues’ broad experience grants her an advantageous perspective in drafting and negotiating client agreements.
In addition to LaQues’ energy and real estate work, LaQues provides pro bono services to clients regarding housing violations, breach of contract and will and estate preparation.
