Leon Huynh is a lawyer in the Sydney banking and finance team. He focuses on U.S. capital market Rule 144A/Regulation S offerings of debt securities, as well as cross border corporate finance matters.
Leon has also been involved in advising clients doing business in Australia with their compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth) and pro bono publico work in assisting non-for-profits, such as the National Justice Project.
Leon began with the firm as part of the graduate program and worked in the Real Estate, Restructuring & Insolvency and Banking & Finance teams. During this time, he helped deploy document automation and matter management technology for commercial leasing clients and was involved in contentious construction law matters and insolvency litigation.
Prior to joining K&L Gates, Leon worked in a client focused role within Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
