Li Shen advises clients in the energy and maritime sectors on corporate and commercial transactions.
Li’s energy experience includes long-term and short-term LNG, oil and products sales and purchase agreements, tolling agreements, lifting agreements, processing and storage agreements, and various energy commodity purchase agreements, including ISDAs, NAESBs, EEIs and ancillary documents. She also has experience assisting clients on project financing arrangements. Her maritime experience includes advising and drafting time charter parties.
Li also maintains an active pro bono practice, which includes assisting asylum seekers in immigration proceedings and proposing an alternative disputes resolution mechanism for the companies in Southeast Asia countries.
Prior to joining the firm, Li was a summer associate at Dell, Inc. and at the firm in 2016. She was a vacation student at a British law firm in Beijing in January 2016. In addition, she was a summer associate at a law firm based in Madison, Wisconsin in 2015, and an apprentice lawyer at a Chinese law firm from 2012-2014.
