Lingjun Zhang

Lingjun Zhang is an associate in the firm's Beijing office. She is a member of the Corporate practice area and the Mergers and Acquisitions practice group.

Prior to joining the firm, Ling served as an associate of a prestigious Chinese law firm where she focused her practice on corporate, antitrust, anti-corruption, and dispute resolution. She advised major international corporations, global funds, state-owned enterprises, and startups in sectors including entertainment, automobile, new energy, health care, manufacturing, and technology. 

Ling has extensive experience in merger control filings, antitrust investigations on merger control/monopoly agreements/abuse of dominance, providing analysis and evaluation of antitrust issues involved in PE/MA transactions,and other antitrust/anti-corruption/Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) compliance matters (such as pre-acquisition due diligence, internal policies design and revision, and training). 

Notably, she worked closely with two major international corporations under special secondment arrangements. She was seconded to one client active in the electric vehicle (EV) charging stations industry for a term of more than three months, where she assisted the client in pre-acquisition due diligence, negotiating and revising transaction agreements related to asset acquisition projects, drafting, negotiating and revising commercial contracts related to its daily business operations, and reviewing internal policies and contracts on employment matters. She was seconded to another client active in the entertainment industry for a term of two months, where she assisted the client in drafting, reviewing, and revising commercial contracts in both English and Chinese and advising on various legal issues in connection with its business operations.
